How much will it cost?

A.

Admission €12pp, 4 year olds and under have free admission, senior citizens have free admission.

Access to some rides cost extra. You may pay for each ride individually or purchase a Gold Band @ €10pp. The gold band gives unlimited access to activities.  Some height restrictions apply.

What do you have there?

A.

30 Acres of beautiful countryside in the Avonmore River valley with a Pirate ship, Tree houses, Tarzan swings, Rope bridges, junior Zip-line, dry Slides, Water slide, Rowing boats, Amphicats(type of canoe) Rafting, Junior Go-Karts, Crazy Golf.  Sand pit, Swings, Slides are available for toddlers who MUST be supervised by an adult at all times! Picnic areas, BBQ areas, Picnic Restaurant and lots more! All our lakes are man-made and have a flat gravel bottom from 800mm-1000mm deep.

What is Clara Lara Funpark?

Clara Lara Funpark is a unique outdoor adventure park dedicated to providing healthy and creative fun for families and groups of children.

What ages is it suitable for?

A.

There are lots of activities here for all active ages.

Is it suitable for groups?

A.

Yes. It is ideal for groups of children up to the age of 13yrs. Teenagers are not permitted in groups, however, they are permitted when visiting the park with their families bringing younger children  and will be refused admission unless prior written permission has been obtained.

What is the Gold Bracelet?

A.

A pay once system which covers all the optional extra activities to the wearer. Some height restrictions apply.  Use of all other activities are covered by the admission. The Gold Band is non-transferable and is only valid on the day of purchase.  No refunds are given on the Gold Bands.

What is a Season Ticket?

A.

A Season Ticket covers admission for up to 2 adults and up to 4 children.  Gold bands are not covered by the season ticket and it is only valid for the current season.

Music?

A.

Music is not permitted in the park as it may be a disturbance to other visitors.

May we bring dogs?

A.

We regret dogs are no longer permitted in the park.

Is the Park supervised?

A.

Yes. There are numerous supervisors and operators around the Park.  They wear a distinctive uniform and they are in continuous radio contact with each other.  Their presence does not however absolve visitors from behaving in a safe and sensible manner.  Visitors who do not supervise their children will be asked to leave!

Are carers free?

A.

Yes.  Identification must be shown. Carers must supervise their children at all times. Help us to help you!

How long may we stay?

A.

We are open from 10:30 – 6 pm. during our season.  You are welcome to stay as long as you wish within these times.

What about food?

A.

We have a picnic restaurant serving burgers, chips, sandwiches, cakes, ice-cream, tea and coffee. We have a shop selling souvenirs, ice-cream and confectionary.  You are welcome to bring you own picnic.  We also have a limited number of BBQ’s.

Payment?

A.

Payment should be made on arrival by cash, verified cheque, and visa/master/laser cards.

What if it rains?

A.

We are an outdoor park with limited cover: Bring suitable clothing and you can still have lots of fun! There are no refunds for bad weather.

Do we need to book?

A.

Booking is not necessary for families. However groups wishing to avail of the group rate or other benefits should book either by telephone or in writing. Payment should be collected by the organiser before arrival.  Time permitting we will send an e-mail or a letter of acknowledgement.

Do you have overnight accommodation at the Park?

A.

No but there are a number of B&B.s in the area of Laragh and Rathdrum. Camping accommodation: Roundwood caravan and camping, Hidden Valley and River Valley caravan and camping.

Do you have BBQ’s?

A.

Yes we have a limited number of fixed barbeques. (We cannot guarantee availability)  You are welcome to bring a disposable barbeque, but they must be used in the designated areas.  Use bricks provided to keep disposable barbeques from damaging the grass.  Charcoal and lighters are available for purchase from our shop or you are welcome to bring your own.

What clothing should we bring?

A.

Wetsuit or old clothes and runners for the activities.  Bring a change of clothes and towels.

Suitable footwear must be worn at all times.  If the weather is inclement bring suitable clothing!

Do you have parking?

A.

Yes. We have 3 car parks all with a short walking distance to the activities.

April 30th for weekends, daily from 28th May - 28th August 2016.  10:30am-6pm

Do you have toilets?

A.

Yes.  We have adequate and hygienic toilets. However do not expect luxury due to the ambient nature of the park i.e. dripping wet children.

Are you insured?

A.

We have full public liability insurance.  However visitors are expected to behave in a safe and sensible manner.  Use your common sense and be responsible!  Any claims will be vigorously defended.
